The challenge

Dispatchers re-typed every order into the courier portal and answered "where is my parcel?" calls all day.

Every order was copied by hand from the shop into the warehouse sheet and then into the courier's portal. Dispatchers picked couriers from memory, mistakes in addresses were only found at the door, and customers called to ask where their parcel was because nobody could tell them without phoning the rider.

What we built

Automated dispatch from order to courier, route-aware assignment and live tracking messages for customers.

Order-to-courier automation
New orders are validated, the address is checked and geocoded, and a pick list goes to the warehouse without anyone re-typing it.
Courier assignment
Couriers are picked by zone, capacity and the day's routes, with a dispatcher able to override any choice.
Live status updates
Customers get a message at each step, from packed to out for delivery to delivered.
A dispatch board
It shows every order's stage, late deliveries and failed attempts, so problems are handled before the customer calls.
